Woodstock Probus Club, Woodstock UK

Woodstock Probus Club was formed in 1984 as a men's club and is part of the association of retired professional and business people in localised clubs throughout the world.

We meet on the first Thursday of the month in Woodstock at 11.30 for 12.00 in St Mary Magdalene Church, Woodstock for lunch and a talk by a guest speaker. Outings and other events are organised, generally joined by our wives, partners and friends.

We have up to 65 active members. Business is organised by a committee, headed by our President, currently Michael Bowles, who is elected annually.

There is also an independent Ladies Probus Club in Woodstock.

We have contact with the Probus Clubs in Woodstock, Oxford, Ontario, Canada. Would you believe it, not only are they in the town of Woodstock, but also in the county of Oxford, Ontario.
